Our members visited the Heritage Centre at RAF Waddington on a Club-organised trip.

Our guide for the tour, Mr Stephen Moore, was most informative about the past and present years of the base. We saw slide shows, images, and artifacts about planes from the Cold War, including parts of a Lancaster Bomber that had crashed in Scotland. We were also shown a section of a Canberra T4, and members could sit in the cockpit.

Our members thoroughly enjoyed our day at the vase and we would like to say a special thanks to Mr Moore.
